Biography – Cameron Wipper: Cam Wipper has spent over 10 years working at the Maunakea Observatories in Hawai’i, USA. Of these years, the last nine have been spent at Canada France Hawaii Telescope. First as a nighttime scientific observer and telescope operator, and presently as the ‘Astronomy Technical Specialist’; a composite role that includes primary nighttime operations support, software development, project management, and science communication. Cam grew up in British Columbia, Canada and is a graduate (B.Sc. Astronomy, 2013) of the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
