My Students
At the research faculty, University of Nairobi and externally, I have had the privilege of mentoring several undergraduate students (over 50!) and a total of 20 graduate students, both at the MSc and PhD level (17 completed and 3 ongoing). My commitment and desire is to be a goto and different kind of professor, able to inspire and build the next generation of scholars, researchers and critical thinkers. I achieve this by fostering a vibrant learning and interactive environment, reflected in my versatile and personalized mentorship that I provide to my students. The large number of my students who are also active participants in my research group’s weekly Journal Club is a testament to the best practices in true student-centered mentorship and guidance.
